Ik heb een omgebouwde xbox

Maar het probleem is: Dat ik wat spellen heb gebrand op de goeie manier maar de xbox pakt ze niet. Als ik de dvd in de xbox doe. Komt er alleen Reading te staan en naar paar seconden staat er Open Tray en gebeurt er niks.

Ik heb de spellen gedownload en met win-rar uigepakt daar zaten een .ISO en .DVD bestand in. Ik heb met CloneCD het .DVD bestand geselecteerd en toen gebrand op een Philips DVD+R DL Double Layer

ik weet ook dat hij bij de vorige eigenaar wel gebrande games heeft afgespeeld.

Ik wil graag weten wat er aan de hand is en wat ik meot doen.

van de Xbox heb ik niet zo veel verstand, maar van films wel, zal je in het kort vertellen hoe ik films brand.

Eerst vind een film in avi bestand.
Instaleer/grbruik convertxtodvd,
zet het prachtig om naar een ECHT dvd bestand, (avi wordt dan video_ts) leer met dit programa werken en dan kan je er ook zelf ondertietels bij zetten. Video_ts wordt door alle dvd spelers afgespeeld, dus ik weet bijna zeker ook door je xbox, mijn playstation 2 leest het zelfs. (dit progrma kost geld maar als je goed bent met (crack) zal het gratis lukken) Ik ga hier dus geen crack links of serials door geven wat dat is iligaal, dat moet je zelf uitvogelen.

ja dvd 's normaal doet hij wel , en dat met ondertiteling enzo heb ik al eerder geprobeerd, damn dat is lastig!

Maar in ieder geval bedankt,
Maar hoop nog wel dat iemand echt kan aangeven waarom het bij games niet werkt

mat dat progje is het echt heel makkenlijk, je zoekt een ontertietel bestand, je drukt op ontertieltel uploeaden en omzetten, KLAAR^^ dat hij singroon loopt of zo, is bij mij altijd zo zonder iets te veranderen

Ik weet niet of .DVD wel de juiste extensie is voor een xbox spel.. Op zich is een extensie maar iets triviaals en zou dat niet al te veel mogen uitmaken.. Maar wat je ook wel zeker moet weten is natuurlijk dat je deftige releases habt gedownload.
Overigens zou ik mss is proberen te branden met Alcohol 120% ik weet niet of die specifiek xbox ondersteunt maar dat programma heeft zeker wel een grote range van brandbare formaten en extensies (toch alleszins al PS2 ondersteuning dacht ik).

Maar het probleem kan in zo'n geval op veel plaatsen liggen dus check zeker ook of je iso's allemaal goed zijn.

iso bestanden zijn game bestanden, dvd bestanden zijn filmbestanden.

probeer de iso te branden met het progje van nero

Like I said, file extensions are trivial, they're just guidelines for pc's on how to open files. When downloading of the internet it's very possible that you download a file that has a wrong extension. there's nothing wrong with the files then, you just have to tell your pc how to open it or what to do with it.

I can take a .txt file and change it to an .iso file but I doubt I'll be able to play it then

Je moet gewoon even de .iso branden..
Dan zal nero of welk programma je ook hebt alles netjes op orde zetten en moet je het spel gewoon af kunnen spelen.
Btw, als je een winrar bestand krijgt, check dan even of dat niet al een .iso is... Want dan moet je DIE natuurlijk branden, bij sommige ziet winrar een .iso ook als een uit te pakken bestand.

en ik zou ook echt OF alcohol OF nero gebruiken. Dat zijn toch wel de meest gebruiksvriendelijke programma's.

He downloaded xbox games. He unpacked them with winrar and had 2 files: .iso & .dvd
He burned the .dvd file with clonecd but the xbox doesn't read the game. (and the last owner of the xbox had it worked)

yes that's exactly it ,
When i put the game in (With that dual layer dvd on which i was supossed to burn it 2.4x speed)
it says "reading..." after a few seconds it's done and it says "open tray" like he hasn't found anything.

waarom word er engels gepraat in een nederlands topic maar wat denk je er van om mischien is goed tegaan google en daar na vragen tegaan stelen en mischien nog beter geweest was het spel tekopen in de winkel was je nu teminsten al aan het spelen

mhmmm... did you check the burned game? It happens very often that there are some errors during the burning process. Did you use Verbatim DVD+R DL? They are the best and the rate of errors on other brands are pretty high.

Based on your info that everything was ok on the last owner eliminates my thoughts that something is wrong with the flash on the dvd drive (and the key on it)

So, first of all you should check the .dvd file. Here how it has to be (open it with the editor):

the name stands for the name of the file (iso) and the .dvd should have the same name. Both files have to be in the same folder.

If everything is ok there, then put in your burned game in your dvd-writer and download abgx360. This program helps you to check the game.

If everything is alright with your burned dvd the source of errors is on the dvd drive... if it reads other burned games there are 2 possibilities:

1) The iXtreme is an old one and doesn´t support the WAVE of the game you burned (then you should update it or you should use an activation disc)

2) Or ss I already said the game wasn´t burned without errors. Then you should reburn it after checking the things I above-mentioned

Hmm i will try buying verbatim DVD+R DL,,, but i needed the + version of this one instead of - didn't i ?

i now had the philips dvd+R DL...

Based on the screenshot you sent me the game is alright. So no need to buy other dvds...

I guess the version of the custom firmware (iXtreme) on your drive doesn´t support WAVE4 (Assasins Creed 2). So there are 2 possibilities now:

1) Burn an Activation Disc and try it with it
2) Or check the version of the firmware by connecting the drive with your pc and then using jungleflasher. If the version is an old one you can update it.

How difficult this is depends on the model of the drive (hitachi, samsung, benq or liteon)

Check what version of ixtreme you have and update it to the last version if possible. If you have a lite-on drive like me you don't need the activation disk with the last version.

hoe kan ik dat checken en hoe kan ik dat updaten kep ze maar geen internet op mijn xbox kan hem ff meenemen naar mijn ouders en daar proberen te upgraden xd

Je kan ixtreme niet updaten via internet, je moet hem open maken en upgraden via speciale software/hardware.
Vraag degene die hem voor je omgebouwd heeft.
