Hey guys

Today I've been banned by Peanut for a week. In my opinion an unfair ban. Let me explain why :
When I started playing I joined T, Peanut asked me to go Ct to fair the teams, so I did.
The next round They were with 7 Vs me ( cause my team ws really bad and all dead), so i was surfing around to duel them one by one
Peanut slayed me and said that i was running. But I don't see the point of running here, I know it can take a while when I want to kill 7 T's, but if they come with 3-4 guys I wont stand there and let me get killed.

Than in the next map, I was a little bit angry and maybe i did irritate Peanut a bit by telling him to stop using duals etc. But after he said to me that i should stop "flaming", I stopped immediatly. And after the round he banned me for a week.

This were his reasons : Lame gameplaying(Running), Disrespecting other players/admins

So plz take a look at this, cause it's so unfair.

i think the slay was unnecessary. everyone runs when they get ganged. except me i give 360 noscope's headshots but let's get back to the topic.
I don't think he disrespects admins or player. he is the only player who dare's to tell something to admins other people wait until the admin leave's and then call them badd admins etc
And maybe peanut took it the wrong way.

no demo needed under 1 month, and i think you already know that...

@ arnout, why stop using duals, we where doing the same this morning on surf10xfinal..., i wasn't there so not going to discuss this

just try not to react when someone does something, it can be irritating, but remember you do it yourself sometimes...

about the ban, a week is a bit long since it is your first ban on that acount... but i know you can be hard to people sometimes, if you only check the logs ... so wouldn't say it is completely unfair..

I think we should hear peanut's side of this story, with Arnout's story I can't really see why he should get banned.

Pinda, tell us a story !

And why isn't there a demo needed for under 1month? That's sort of stupid? no proof = unban if you complaint?

Anyway, back to case

Unban him, until Peanut tell's what happened, and reban him again (+ the time he has been unbanned while peanut's not here) would be fair?

i think a admin is judge and executioner.

if you want to know more read the logs there was a warning first

Yes there was a warning, like I said before, but I stopped arguing him. And I didn't say things wrong, I was just a bit pissed by the slay that I got ...

What's strange about it? it's like in real life, first you ban people for a little time, then while ppl are figuring out if what he did was wrong or right, he can play the game, so you/we do not punish innocent people

a guy with 1000 lvls, 500 hp kill a lvl 1, not lame??

alot of reason to ban, if you gonne ban peaple for lame gameplay....

lets ban all a week for "lame play"

admin desrepesct... somone taking somthing close in???(no offencse....)

First of all I would like to start with the message that I had totally no intention in posting in this topic, but after all the irritating talks on steam, the question from black_booster and Mats to post here I have to do this. But I guess its a part of my status as being an admin to reply on this useless topic.
Also, a good thing to mention is that this all happened on surf_mai_redone

Lets start that there were only 4 terrorists alive. I was standing still on the middle round platform to catch you up if I saw you coming but all you did was fire a few shots at my teammate at that time I was already with you and shooting at you but all you did was running away, everyone was saying runner, so after a minute or 2 I slayed you. There was a whole CT team that wanted to play, other players already got pissed because of you so in my eyes I did the right thing (Oh man they would even agree with a kick!).

The next map was surf_dust_2005
After I warned him to stop all the flame about the duals I must agree that he stopped flaming but he did get the blood under my nails because of all the irritating comments he gave after he died or when he killed me, he did not do it to all the other players but only to me.

So thats my reply to his unban request

Let me make this clear I dont have/had a bad day, my personal life is all fine I got everything rolling and nothing to worry about also, who are you to tell how I should do my actions as being an admin? I never expected you saying this.....

I would like to say hello and welcome to the world of RPG
The point of RPG is to get such a high level to make it easier for yourself to kill enemys, so every line in this last quote is part of the game, there is nothing we can do about that it happens on all the servers that are running some kind of RPG mod. If you hate this and really think that this is lame you should not play any RPG mod for source games.

Since I had no intention posting here this will be my first and last post in this topic, there is absolutely nothing I have to say about this ban.

Euhm first of all , whole T team was still alive. Secondly i didnt hear anyone saying that i was running. I already said i maybe irritated you, but i stopped and that was due to the slay. And at last it is my first ban ( wich i didnt earn ) so a week is too damn long ! My unban request stays ...

I have chat with Arnout and if i listen to him he says after the warning you gave him he stayt calm and after a few rounds you ban him at one's.

I would agree that he would get a ban if he was after the warning still disrespectful against admins/players but that wasnt the problem anymore ?

Also a week is Way to long to ban someone who is banned for the first time in TwG after been playing on it so long.

Also Running is running away too long from your enemy right ? But what would you do if there are 5T's ? just stay and let you be killt?

For me not realy a reason to ban someone ?

When i am on Surf i allways saw him as a very actief player that didt not do anything wrong?
